1. Overview
At ChinaBajar, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your data from our Facebook Page Management Tool, you can do so using any of the methods described below.
Upon receiving a valid deletion request, we will permanently remove all your data from our systems within 7 business days.
2. What Data Will Be Deleted
When you request data deletion, we will remove the following information from our systems:
- Your public profile information (name, profile picture).
- Your email address.
- All Facebook Page access tokens associated with your account.
- Any cached page data, engagement metrics, and message history stored on our servers.
- Your account preferences and settings.
Note: Data deletion from our systems does not affect your Facebook account or Facebook Pages. Your content on Facebook remains unchanged. We only delete data stored on ChinaBajar's servers.
3. How to Request Data Deletion
Option A: Email Request
Send an email to us with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include the following details:
- Your full name
- The email address associated with your account
- Your Facebook Page name(s) connected to our tool
Option B: Remove via Facebook Settings
You can also revoke our app's access directly from your Facebook account:
- Go to your Facebook Settings > Business Integrations.
- Find "ChinaBajar" in the list of active apps.
- Click "Remove" to revoke access.
- Check the box to "Delete all posts, photos, and videos" that ChinaBajar may have posted on your behalf (optional).
Once you remove our app from Facebook, we will automatically receive a notification and delete all your data from our systems within 7 business days.
4. Deletion Timeline
- Acknowledgement: We will confirm receipt of your deletion request within 24 hours.
- Processing: Your data will be permanently deleted within 7 business days from the date of your request.
- Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been successfully deleted.
5. Data We May Retain
In certain circumstances, we may retain limited data as required by law, such as:
- Transaction records required for tax or legal compliance.
- Anonymized, aggregated data that cannot be used to identify you.
Any retained data will be stored securely and used only for the stated legal purposes.
